OrnaKart (Ziptron Information Technology, "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using our site you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the details you give us when you create an account, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or contact support — such as your name, email, phone number and shipping address. We also automatically collect limited technical data (device, browser and usage) to keep the site secure and improve it.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to process and deliver orders, provide customer support, send order and payment updates, and — with your consent — share offers and new arrivals. We never sell your personal data.

3. Payments

Cash-on-Delivery orders require no card details. Online payments (cards, UPI and netbanking) are handled by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment partner Razorpay; we do not store your full card, UPI or bank details on our servers — Razorpay processes and secures that data under its own privacy and security policies.

4. Transactional email

Order confirmations, delivery updates, verification links and other account emails are delivered on our behalf by our email partner, Zoho ZeptoMail, solely for the purpose of sending you those messages.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your bag, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as intended.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share only what is necessary with trusted partners — payment processors (Razorpay), email delivery (Zoho ZeptoMail), couriers to deliver your order, and service providers who help us run the site — all bound to protect your data. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. While no method is perfectly secure, we work hard to keep your data safe and limit access to those who need it.

8. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) you may access, correct, update or request deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You can do this from your account, or by writing to the grievance contact below.

9. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
